CASE HISTORY: GALA CROISETTE
Every year, the editorial team at Gala magazine publishes the Gala Croisette free daily magazine throughout the Cannes Film Festival. With a 15,000 print run, this bilingual 64-page magazine is distributed in the city and all the flagship locations on the Croisette itself. TagLine has taken care of the English version since the very first edition. For the 12 days of the festival, a team of three project leaders and five translators on three continents manages and translates the magazine articles as a just-in-time workflow between 2pm and 3am. The teams must respect the four daily deadlines to ensure distribution from 1:15pm the following day. For this project, the flexibility of our teams, their responsiveness and the close collaborative relationship we have built with the teams at Gala are what ensure the success of this ambitious project year after year.
